Established in 2017, Actors Anonymous is an independent English-language theatre collective based in Amsterdam. We aim to bring you fresh & contemporary theatre and hope you’ll be just as addicted to our plays as we are.

our second production the god of carnage by yasmina reza had a sold-out run, in amsterdam in 2019. THE GOD OF CARNAGE is a sharp comedy about human nature, relationships and our struggle to keep up appearances. Relatable to anyone who has ever tried – and failed – to take the moral high ground, THE GOD OF CARNAGE is a laugh out loud comedy that shines a light on the bad traits we all like to keep hidden.

our debut show, Becky Shaw, had a SUCCESSFUL run in amsterdam in 2018. a savvy, sharp comedy of bad manners, tangled love, sex and ethics among a group of thirty-somethings (basically us), it had the audience laughing out loud and then arguing about the “good guys” all the way home.
