Other recent theatre credits include the role of Sophie in the comedy WET (Screw Productions) and Suzannah in the dark comedy Becky Shaw (Actors Anonymous). (NTR), Always the funniest (VARA humor TV) and A little less conversation (Media Brothers/NTR).

Before graduating from drama school, I obtained my Master's degree in Theatre, Film and Television Studies from Utrecht University and worked as a Copywriter in the Media Industry.

Hi, my name is Cíntia Taylor and I’m a director.

I’ve been telling stories since the moment I said my first word - it was 'dog', much to my mom's disappointment. With a strong focus on female-centric stories, I bring light to shades of women that are rarely disclosed. My work spreads through areas such as journalism, corporate storytelling, film, poetry, and theatre.
Previously I have adapted the play and written the original text for a sold- out production of Antigone at Het Compagnietheater; and I wrote the original short play The Ingenious Mind, which premiered at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam on January 2018. My directorial debut on stage was in October 2018 at Perdu, Amsterdam, with the comedy WET – a play about women, porn, and sex.
I’ve also written and directed three films: When Waves Break (premiering in 2019), Your Hair is Cute (premiered in February 2019 at Chicago Feminist Film Festival), and Clinch (in post-production).
